Here is the final part of the series of an interview conducted by Erik T. Heidt with Lee Kushner, President of LJ Kushner and Associates, LLC, an executive search firm dedicated exclusively to the Information Security industry and its professionals. The Interview with InfoSec Industry Insider – Part 1 concentrated on ‘Career Incident Response’ focused on people who are victims of lay offs or who feel they could be impacted by future cost cutting measures. This final part of the series focuses on Personal Development Plan, Effective Network and so on.
Here is an excerpt from the interview.
“Erik: What does a Professional Development Plan look like, and whom should I share it with?
Lee: My thought is that a Professional Development Plan has two parts. The first part represents your current career and the skills that you currently possess. The second part is your long term career goal, and the skills and experiences necessary to qualify for that particular role.“
