KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Requires BS/BA Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience.
Requires 8-10 years engineering experience with 2-4 years of experience developing and implementing the ArcSight family of products.
ArcSight ESM, ArcSight Express, ArcSight Log Management Suite, ArcSight Threat Response Manager, ArcSight Network Configuration Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for the ongoing administration, maintenance and enhancement of the ArcSight Security Event Management system and related components. This includes supporting data being collected from firewalls, proxies, intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability management systems, anti-virus systems, VPN systems, and various Windows systems.
Security Engineers work with and learn from experienced security team leaders and use the latest technology to detect, analyze and limit intrusions and security events. Candidates must be willing to work in a NOC/SOC environment, demonstrate intuitive problem solving skills and allow for flexible scheduling. Our candidates MUST be able to obtain a government security clearance and obtain a favorable Customs Background Investigation. Weekend and holiday work may be required, but there is limited scheduling flexibility available.

Because this position is in support of the federal government all candidates must have the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security.
